RODS with Magnet Board (Ray Optics Demonstration Set)

The RODS set has turned out to be the best-selling product due to its simple design, user-friendliness and clear demonstration of basic principles of geometrical optics.

Complemented with all versions of Laser Ray Box (sold separately) the set improves the quality of teaching and offers new possibilities in comparison with the classic incandescent lamp.

With the use of a complementary Laser Ray Box, it is possible to demonstrate most of the elementary optic principles quickly and intuitively. Moreover, the demonstration of beams passing through the combination of several optical elements is possible, which enables effective demonstration and modeling of basic optical devices. Another remarkable advantage arises from the very low demand for room light conditions.

Ray Optics Demonstration Set using Laser Ray Box can be used in standard classrooms without any additional room darkening. It allows very good demonstration and visualization of the following optical phenomenons:

• transmission of the light through the convex (concave) lens
• transmission effect of an optical prism
• reflection on the planar convex and concave mirror
• refraction of the light
• index of refraction values and others

The set also demonstrates:

• function of healthy, short-sighted and far-sighted vision
